chmod issue

Hi all,

my host (free.fr) doesn't let me execute chmod in their servers. The folder permission is set to 700 and the point me to change the PHP code, because it's not possible to change the access mode.

Any ideas how I could solve this issue? Thanks

change the hoster

it is not necessary to use freehosters anymore when you can get domains and webspace with PHP and MySQL for very small money now

for this small money you will have a advertisement free webspace and no stupid neighbours and/or other content which you cannot control

please do not expect that now all experts here start to find out some hacks and wayarounds... that would be a waste of time ;=)

Other then that it is nearly impossible to hack around a chmod 700 problem
