It's a great start but you are relying on people to have javascript enabled.

If javascript is disabled then the video does not work.

We're hoping to introduce what we call "frontspace addons" that manipulate the way pixelpost works very soon.

If you can wait, this might be a better way to add this type of capability.

I thought I needed exactly this thing just last week.

But in the end decided to use PP as it was designed, yanked a photo out for the photoblog and poked the video into the description.

Now that I've tested, I'll make some more videos from my photos. It's good fun and provides a nice diversion from thinking about static photos for a change.
