Encontré este add-on que es muy facil de usar, basta con poner el codigo indicado en cualquier parte del codigo de image_template.html y copiar boxover.js en /includes o en el directorio que desee.

Tiene un detalle, donde dice
<SCRIPT SRC="BoxOver.js"></SCRIPT>
debe decir
<script src="boxover.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
