import from wordpress

Hi,
I am trying to import wordpress blogposts into pixelpost using the import to wordpress addon. On my wordpress blog, I do not have an images folder. These images were inserted via html that are from images uploaded to flickr.
So I have no idea what to put on the "Wordpres image path on server" form
and I'm not sure on what to put on the "table prefix" form. If I leave them blank I get an error that the import failed.

Any suggestions? I'm mainly wanted to import my old posts (originally from blogspot) that have all of my comments. I will then edit them and reupload the original images into pixelpost.

Thank you,

Mark Z

Update:

I now have my images in my wordpress directory. I went through 148 posts and removed the flickr link and uploaded the images to each post.

Here is an example of one of my posts: http://zmanphotography.com/wordpress/?p=137

I've figured out my wordpress settings from the wp-config.php file , but I am still having problems importing everything into pixelpost. Can someone help?
my email is zmanphotog[at]cox.net

I really want to use pixelpost not wordpress.

Thanks!

Mark

What exactly are you having trouble with? The import addon specifically or some other aspect?

Thanks for the reply.

It seems to be when I try to do the import from the plugin.

Basically I have double checked my settings. I think I am putting in the right info.
This is what I put for my wordpress images directory-
/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/

I get about 140 lines of this error for each of my posts "NOTE:
Error in copying: /wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/10103273408_b6491c17c2_o.jpg to ../images/1_103273408_b6491c17c2_o.jpg"
Of course the .jpgs are different on each post.

hmm, i'm not familiar with wordpress or this addon but it seems like the path is still wrong. fiddle around with the path and see if you can get it to work.

I've tried several different combos of image paths. I've almost given up, which stinks because it seems like I'm almost there. My wordpress images all go to this directory:
/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/

Anyone else have a suggestion on what path I should try?

Thanks again,

Mark

I've tried different paths and still no luck. I've also tried to e-mail the person who designed the addon and haven't heard back. I'd really like to use Pixelpost, but things aren't going that way. I just hate to lose 2 years of archives and comments. If anyone on here has experience with this addon, please e-mail me at zmanphotog (at) cox.net

Thanks,

Mark

One other thing I might add is I feel like my wordpress path is correct, because if it is giving me an error "NOTE:
Error in copying: /wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/10103273408_b6491c17c2_o.jpg to ../images/1_103273408_b6491c17c2_o.jpg"
It is finding my old archive images. I thought it might be a permissions problem. Not sure.

It does sound like the path is correct. What are the folder permissions for the Pixelpost images folder?
