I had individual photo help in mind for this section...so I will post my replies here, but others are more than welcome to post on the blogs that they are linked to...

Basics: Exposure is good, color, focus seems a little shallow...

overall, watch your framing, the upper left has a nitch of some stucture...I dont care for it, the lower left has a piece of the subject randomly flowing in...that bothers me too. Play with the angles of the subject, watch where it enters and exits your viewfinder/frame.
