Unable to comment (1.7)

Hi,

I don't know how to fix this but I can't write a comment on my site after the upgrade to 1.7 .

All I get is a blank page.
The URL is pointing to ....index.php?x=save_comment

Any ideas?

Regards,
manne

Double check to make sure that index.php was uploaded during the upgrade. I know it sounds trivial but this happens quite often and has become one of the main remedies to most issues.

Is this running on your own server or a web hosts?

Line 115 seems to be the check to determine whether the domain is a known spammer. It's possible that the check is blocked, but instead of simply failing, the script just times out. I'm not too familiar with these functions, though. Maybe someone a little more familiar with the spam checking can help.
