Has anyone tried to addon pinging the blogrolling system(s)?

I know this is possible with wordpress and movabletype (but what a P.I.T.A. it is to get them from being a weblog to photoblog). If I had any coding skills I would jump forward and try it but alas, I am useless.

Great software though.

I have been thinking about this, just haven't invested any time to learn how it's done. I suppose it's just open a socket and ping somewhere or something, I don't know.

Will go on a prowl and search for some tutorial/guide/something along the lines.
