Problem with VFXY
Hello !
I just got an email from VFXY saying: "Unfortunately we can't seem to download thumbnails from you photoblog. You are missing IMG tags in your posts. For more info check: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp An example of feed with the IMG tags in each post is available here: http://movie.leova.com/index.php?x=rss Please let us know once you add it." Well, is there something missing on the pixelpost package I installed ? If IMG tags are missing in my posts, how can I fix this ? Many thanks in advance for your kind help... Bardamu

There are most definitely image tags within your RSS feed.
The only time image tags would not be included within your feed is when you have the "Show Text Only" option set within your RSS options which you do not. I would get in touch with VFXY's support department.

Thank you for this prompt answer !
The problem is solved now with VFXY, I had indeed set-up the device to "text only" :-) I corrected it in the meanwhile, but only small thumbnails are displayed at VFXY...should I change it and go for full size images ?

You can change it if you wish.
I'm not sure if VFXY alters the image size so if you switch to full-size images, you may very well get that or they may scale them down. Try it out and see what happens. If the full-size images are too large, you can always go back to using your thumbnails.

Another VFXY weekly theme issue
Hello,
VFXY has my images when I look at my profile. But when I try to enter the weekly theme, I enter an address like, http://beepsandchirps.com/index.php?showimage=122 and I get a message saying they do not detect an image. There is also a recommendation that the address should end in .jpg or something similar. Any advice would be great. Jonathan |
