It is not that important, but i would use the header functionalty. I have 6 templates for each language, for changes i have to touch 12 templates. Would be much comfortable to have.

Since we are planning a new kind of language implementation in future Pixelpost releases I don't think we will change the header and footer behaviour.
These are thought to be used for meta or other HTML head information and for design reasons more than for information content

I can see on the main page of pixelpost that the release date is different of the v 1.7.1 I downloaded prior this date.

What is the difference between the new date release and the one before because the version is still the same. If there any change made to this date released from prior?

We only made changes in the Defensio addon. There were some problems related to the prior version shipped with Pixelpost and not everybody seems to be reading our blog (http://www.pixelpost.org/blog/2008/0...-addon-update/). So all the new people now get the correct addon so we (and the guys at Defensio) have to answer less support questions.
