This is Carl from Defensio.com. Since Defensio is now bundled with Pixelpost, I thought I'd drop by to say hi and to say that we're really happy to be part of your community and to help you anyway we can.

I'm a wannabe photographer myself and I must say that I find Pixelpost very impressive. Dennis has made a great job bringing Defensio to PP and I hope you'll reward his efforts by giving Defensio a shot.

Nice of you to drop by. Thanks for the kind words. IMHO Defensio is doing a great job. Other protections like the captcha are not user-friendly, Defensio is. Since I got Defensio installed I can publish my comments again directly instead of moderating them. Saves me a lot of work.

I read in the defensio blog that it's trying to do a better job catching spam with no URLs. Is it doing better than akismet? (this is one major problem I'm having at the moment.)
