No Addons Showing Up in Addons Menu

None of my addons are being listed or showing up on my addons menu in my pixelpost control panel!?

Did this just happen at random, or did it coincide with an upgrade or perhaps a recently installed addon?

If you upgraded recently, make sure you uploaded all of the files in the install package, including index.php. If you recently upgraded to 1.7, make sure you followed all the installation/upgrade instructions including the one about the akismet addon.

If you installed any addons recently, try deleting them from you addons folder and seeing if the rest of them show up in your admin panel.

Lastly, remove all of the addons from the addons folder on your website, and only upload those that were included in with the PixelPost package. Once you've done that, and assuming those show up in you admin panel, then upload each of the optional addons one by one, checking after each to see if the last one broke the admin panel.

or you could fix it by removing the _defensio folder. Dakwegmo outlined the perfect steps normally, but in this case on some servers there is a bug in Defensio prohibiting the addon list to show.

If you would used the search you would have found at least 2 threads with the same problem and the same solution I'm posting here.
