pp not saving any tags

I've just done a fresh install of pixelpost 1.7 on my server, and everything works fine except tags. Whenever I add a new image or update and existing one, PP just discards the tags but saves everything else. I've checks the pixelpost_tags table in the mysql database, and it's got 3 fields and zero records.

i've run a trace in functions.php

the following query is being executed: INSERT INTO pixelpost_tags (img_id, tag) VALUES ( 34,'skyline');

i don't see anything wrong with this. anyone have an idea?

Here it is, download the patched file below and upload it to your admin/ folder making sure to overwrite the old images_edit.php file.

Is this a change that all of us running 1.7.1 need to make (replacing the images_edit.php file)?

This bug fix fixes the mass tagging option found on the images list page.

Adding tags via the new image pane still works without this patch.

So, if you wish to use the mass edit tags function, then yes, Pixelpost v1.7 / v1.7.1 should apply the patch.

thanks a billion! worked like a charm

i'm guessing it had something to do with the alt_tag field?

but it doesn't show the tags on the index page. i.e. it doesnt list the tags for each image.

You have to have the paged archive turned on to make tags work, even if you don't use the archive pages

I did it. Thank you very much. Bug fixed, now i can mass edit my tags on 1.7.1
