Option 1 or 2 are better than 3. The cut descenders don't look good.
Typographers rule: Never mutilate a font!

Actually, #3 uses a different font named Concorde which looks like that.

So don't worry, I didn't mutilate any fonts. :-)

I like #3 the best, but have to agree with the jifferent comment. Have you tried moving the ifferent part below the flourish/underline, then move View up to sit on the line?

Yes I've tried that and it didn't turn out too well. :-P

See what I mean?

Concorde is a beautiful modern serif typeface. The f in the italic font still looks mutilated to me, even if Günter Gerhard Lange designed it like this. In copy text it might work fine, however I would not use it in a logo, especially if I had the opportunity to play or make a bold statement with a double f.

Thanks Nox, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I played around a bit in Illustrator today to try out some other logo ideas.

Jay,

For me Option 4 is the best of the bunch, however the 'A' could do with some modification.

Option 5. The 'A' is too stylized, Option 6 the 'A' is too bold and upright, Option 7 does not look good. What is 'Aff' about your blog, the same for option 8.

Just my view, you understand, I'd stick with option 4 but work a bit on that 'A'.

I'm going to completely disagree with mike. I don't like particularly like any of this last group because all the emphasis seems to be on the 'A'. If it were my logo I would want more emphasis on a strong word like 'different' or even 'view'.

I did say best of the bunch! :-)

I'd also agree with you.
