Cant get thumbnails to center

I am new to this and know just enough to mess things up really bad. I am on a mac and viewing this in safari, I can only imagine how it looks in other browsers. Keep in mind I really have no idea what I am doing so if you respond please explain in a simple way or I will be very confused! I am trying to customize my blog and can not figure out how to get the thumbnails under the main photo to center and drop down a few spaces from the info&comments text area. This is the image_template.html code in that area:
