Lightbulb One Page Template?

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a one page template for a portfolio or project style photoblog. As I am thinking of desiging one? It would include small thumbnails inside a slidebar and an about section at the bottom. I realise this may not suit many people but it would be very simple and hopefully stylish. Possibly it could be used photos along a certain theme or trip or for companies showing off work.

That sounds like it would be a good idea, I tried to do something a bit like that but failed miserably... I don't think I would use it but I am sure that some people would find that useful.

Yes, it would be interesting. Also, I'm thinking that if you have a large amount of pictures the thumbnails will increase the loading time, so i believe a solution is to use a paged "gallery" inside a frame? Just a thought...

Yeah the paged the gallery would be something you would have to do, or possiably using an ajax scroll type box or something along those lines.

I had started on an idea for a one page template a couple weeks ago, but gave up after I didn't think the design was that strong. It brings in other pages via ajax and re-writes urls for the tags and categories. You can try it out here if you want.

Yes, I was thinking of using ajax for browsing the photos. I'll get onto making it.
