ecard or email photo to a friend?
Is there a simple way to create an addon to email a photo to a friend, or send as an ecard?

I have found several php scripts for setting up an ecard system, but I thought it would be useful to integrate some script in the image_template page.

when I say there is an easy way, people expect me to write that easy script too. That's why I don't like to say that something is easy anymore. But I should admit that what you are mentioning is quite easy!

(and obviously I'm too exhausted to do that )

ecard request
*re-bump*

I would really like to add this functionality, but have no clue how to do it. This will be great for all as I know from another site (which uses 4images) that a lot of ecards are sent which brings people to that site that came back after to send themselves etc.

Is there just a simple link to make (press the ecard button), coupled with some sendmail script and a template? I would really hate to have to install 4iamges, just for the ecards and then have to upload every image again (and with the same ID..). That would take away the need for PixelPost..

Is anybody already working on this? If not, is there anybody out there who can do it and wants to?

I may look into this in the future. Right now my computer's hard drive fried along with some other stuff so i'ts hard for me to develop any addons at the moment.

Nothing yet. I never took on the project. Someday maybe, if someone does not get to it first.

these postcard scripts belong to the must vulnerable scripts around, ready for misuse and spam mailing... because they attract the spammers and spam bots like flowers the bees...

so to develop one of them you must be very careful

I myself used a postcard script since 1997 at my first website, it was one of the first of the world, and I must say I am tired of that
fighting against the spam a.....s who try to break and misuse it
