I think the interest from within the pixelpost community might be higher than from outside forums.

It might be a good idea to allow more than one Pixelpost Forum Team.

I am interested in this contest...I don't have great design or coding skills, but anything I could do to help - testing, etc...for me this would be a learning exercise....

actually a lot of interests has been expressed when i was throwing around the idea elsewhere, a single community can have multiple teams...but the idea behind the teams is because everyone is always pressed for time, it takes a lot of the workload off and allows people to have some good clean fun.

I have to agree with Chester on this...

I don't get why outside communities would do a template for Pixelpost... Isn't it better to keep that challenge for us?

I may not be always in the forums but I'm a Pixelpost addicted since it's earlier releases and I guess this community should not ask for outside participation...

My opinion.
My 2 cents.

why would they? just for fun and cause we're moving to open-source so its a good cause, and many of their members run pixelpost for their photoblogs

if you would like an in-house contest, that can be arranged to...

Sorry, not 'why would they', but simply 'why not just us?'
But, of course, I'm not part of the admin so it's up to you guys

I like the idea of teams, not only to spread the workload, but also because people have different strengths and weaknesses. Some might be excellent CSS coders, others might be stronger in the layout design and feel, and others might just be able to contribute a kick ass PP logo.

I think having outside forums participate is a good idea...the more the better...

Interested

I'm also interested in participating with the "pixelpost team".

I have some knowledge of HTML and CSS, and also of graphic design.

So, tell me, how can I help the team.
