Addon Mosaic - ja und wie krieg ich es hin?

Hallo, kann mir mal bitte jemand helfen?

Ich bin nach zwei Stunden ergebnislosem Rumprobieren jetzt ziemlich entnervt und kurz davor, entweder den Rechner oder mich selbst aus dem Fenster zu werfen.

möchte ich gerne in ein Blog einbinden, bei dem ich das Template simple_bgclr (Link jetzt nicht gefunden, man kann fürs Bild eine Hintergrundfarbe angeben) nutze.

Ich krieg es nicht mal als Link auf einer der Template-htmls gebacken, geschweige denn als Startseite für das gesamte Blog.

Als Installationsanleitung steht in der mosaic.php noch:

Copy mosaic.php to addons directory.<br />
<b>&lt;MOSAIC&gt;</b> - insert this tag on a template.<br />

Ja super. Bringt leider auch kein Ergebnis und ich bin keine Fachfrau, die Ahnung von irgendwelchen Basics hat, die man so oder so machen muss.

Mosaic ist als Addon installiert und taucht im Admin-Bereich des Blogs als "on" auf. Wie komme ich nun in ganz kleinen Schritten für Anfängerinnen dahin, dieses Mosaik als die Seite einzurichten, die erscheint, wenn man die Url fürs Blog aufruft?

Sure its not working well, there is a lot of slang in it ;-).

I tried to install your mosaic addon. Meanwhile I managed to create an own template for the mosaic site.
But how do I manage to get the thumbnails displayed?

I surfed on other blogs using this addon and had a look at the source - do I have to create and code all the thumbs manually?

That's the only problem left.

Can you give a url where you are trying to get this to work so I can troubleshoot? You don't need to code the thumbnails manually. You can add the <MOSAIC> tag to any template file, but you need to add the css styles as well:

finally I managed to get it working :-)))))))) !!!!

I don't know how I did exactly (it was a lot of trial and error) - and I'm not finished yet with my blog. But when it is ready to be shown I'll pass you the link and you're welcome to take a look.
