e2 seriously rocks...ive had stuff hosted at 9.99, 2advanced, dreamhost, flashlevel, media temple, and e2 takes the cake for my needs from hosting...i loved 2a and flashlevels 24-7 support, uptime at 2a was rock solid, but the plans were pricey, which puts a massive damper on the situation for the broke college student struggling for clients

Its amazing the people that have been switching to e2 though, I know several of the larger photoblogs from photoblogs.org switched there, those packages are rock solid for digital photography, the stroage and bandwidth and features at that price is a great deal...as well as many large name webdesigners that host there as well.

I think during a DOS attack I had 20 minutes of downtime, in which case e2 notified me right away of the situation and had everything stable again shortly following the notice. The occasional 30 seconds of downtime when I break something, panic on IM to support and they have it fixed right away...lol

and none of that hours of waiting for email support stuff, much of the time its live IM support, being a smaller company if i send in a request at 4am it migh take an hour or two to get a reply back from the system admin...in which case that is expected. But they are growing fast, new features and options all the time, and 24-7 live support will probably be short to follow I assume

also for blogging, subdomain stats are stored on their own account with cpanel, so keeping track of whats kickin with your photoblog with cpanel is very very nice...

Hey bro, thanks so much for the praise. I'm not so sure it's deserved, but seriously, it's appreciated a lot. So, on behalf of the rest of the guys at e2, thanks again.
Cheers.
Zach

Based on Blinking's praise... I 'almost' switched from my host at 2advanced (http://www.2advanced.net), I'm REALLY happy with their service. Everytime I've had a question or a problem my emails were replied to in less than an hour and any phone calls were very helpful, quick and very polite.

The only problem was small hard drive space. But they've upped my hard drive space and are going to be upgrading their service all around soon, so i'll stick it out. Good service means a lot and I don't want to lose it, now that I have it. But, if I have any problems... eleven2 is on my list.
