Lost Connection to MySQL server

Hey,

I've been using PP for a couple years now and last week it seemed to begin to really slow down alot... sometimes the inital load of my blog (http://www.austinmann.com/blog) takes 30 seconds... sometimes it snaps right up.

Then, when I go to my archive/gallery sometimes its snappy and other times it takes forever. If I click an image in the gallery at times it will takes like 45 seconds and then I will get an error that says "Lost Connection to MySQL server during query." But then a minute later it might work fine...

I called my host, GoDaddy, and they said everything on their end seems to be functioning properly. My main page, austinmann.com still loads snappy and fast and anything else I am hosting is quick, just not the blog.

I decided to upgrade to the latest version of PixelPost (1.7.1) to see if that would mend the problem, but it still hasn't improved.

I'm not a code guy but am willing to dive into whatever to see if I can fix this... Anybody have an idea of what the problem could be? Thanks.

- Austin
