Album addon

Is there a way to present an album in Pixelpost. Something like grouping pictures into an album and display an album cover thumbnail. Clicking this thumbnail opens a webpage with all the thumbnails belonging to this album, giving you the possibility to browse through them. Has someone developed an addon with this functionality, or are there some ideas about this?

As far as I know, there is no gallery addon for pixelpost.

I'm not sure if geos' category addon works with tags, but if it works,
then an idea could look like this:

the "album shots" get an additional tag "album_bla"
you create a new template page such as albums_template.html
then you add a thumbnail and call the pics by using the given tag "album_bla"

I've been working on a different front end for the browse pages - you can see my what I have so far here: http://blog.kevincrafts.com/index.php?x=album.

There's some modifications I still need to do. Right now I have it either display the latest image from the category or a random image from the category. It works with multiple languages and with or without the paged archive addon.

Kevin, thank you for developing this addon. Would it be possible to add a browse mechanism to it, so you can view all the pictures in an album like a slideshow. That would be great!
