Marco,

Could you please let me know how I can change the camera icon used in front of the comments?

Thanks!

Hi patpro,

Yes, I know where that image file is. But I cannot find the actual coding that embed that image file. I need to switch out that image. It is not in image template file.

One suggestion:
On the ABOUT page, the text is light grey color and it is very hard to read. Could you please help refine the css to give it a couple of more text style/color so that the ABOUT page is easier to read, and maybe provide us a template of ABOUT?

I know I am asking too much. But you are the expert with taste, so I better try to ask...
Hi all,

First, thanks for your template Marco. I love it !

I've got the same problem. Please can you be more precise than "All I did was to finish all your OTHER steps".

Thanks.

Nic, it simply means step 1 an 2 need to be performed in reverse order . So, first copy the darkmatter directory into your PP templates directory, then put dm_support.php in your addons directory and enable it.

I have changed the instructions in the new upcoming version to prevent this confusion. It also doesn't break the Addons page anymore but shows a nice error message.

Dark Matter 1.0 beta 14 (or 1.0 RC1)

Hello all!

I have packaged Dark Matter 1.0 beta 14 which can be seen as 'release candidate' as I have finished all the work I wanted to do for version 1.0 final.

After this I will only fix bugs and then release 1.0.

Because the template is rather complex and it's easy to forget something in a release for me I wanted to ask one or two of you all if you'd be so kind to test out my beta 14 release before I post it on the pixelpost site. Just to make sure everything is in working order and to not aggravate people with a broken release.

It can be downloaded here:

http://www.i-marco.nl/stuff/darkmatter-1.0b14pre.zip

As soon as I know this release works for at least 1 or 2 people I will post it on the template page on the PP website.

Let me know how it goes!

CHANGELOG entry:

- Improved accessibility. Many thanks to Benjamin Hawkes-Lewis for all his advice on accessibility issues, making this template EXTREMELY accessible.
- Made tabs wider to accommodate more text / larger text
- added info-icon link to make image info tab keyboard accessible
- fixes to make the page look and work better with increased browser text size
- Made display of tags on archive page configurable (see dm_config.php)
- Prevented the add-on page fail when the darkmatter directory isn't present and added an error notice to notify the user about this
