@DerPatrick I feel like a complete retard here but: how do you use these default language strings in a template? I looked at the included ones and they contain raw strings. I see no reference to how to use the strings from the language file...

Can someone explain?

Can anyone who is experiencing problems try it on my site:

http://www.i-marco.nl/photoblog/

I did find a small bug with the arrows (they keep flashing at wrong times in Safari) but other than that things are working ok for me in both FF and Safari.

Let me know!

Small b9 update. Only file changed is the javascript. Fixed a small bug in the updating of the arrows.

Yet another small update that makes the carousel work completely correct in Safari, which wasn't the case before. (just cosmetic things, mind you).

At the moment I'm close to calling it 'release candidate'. Therefore after this update, if the theme works fine for you you don't really need to upgrade every time. I won't be adding features anymore but only fix bugs as I or users of the template find them. This may take a while as I want it to be totally perfect before I take the beta sign off the release

If you upgrade, make sure you don't forget to update the add-on as well!

Also, for people who are heavy on the customisation: You may want to hold that off a bit until version 1.0 is out (non beta).

If you make CSS only changes, the best way to do it is add your own custom CSS stylesheet and include it after mine, so it will override certain things. Like that you can keep your custom CSS after an upgrade and you don't have to redo things.

As with every beta product, things can change, including in the templates!

I'm currently working on a version in which the carousel also works without Javascript and that will definitely introduce some changes to image_template.html.

Have a poke at:

Now if I could just figure out how to change the icon on the top left...
