That's true, BUT the page loads perfectly without JS and it is still perfect navigate able, only the sliding effect doesn't work any more.

With JS enabled all slides (photo, comments, details) are floated left to each other.
With JS turned of all the slides are put together below each other plus the links (anchors) to the slides are working.

And of course the sites still valids XHTML - so for the search engines it makes no difference.

And... it always makes sense to make things work and look good without Javascript. I spend tons of time to make whatever I create work and look good without Javascript.

Making sure your site is degradable is part of web development best practices
Disabling JS makes no sense at all. It's a common mistake to be afraid of JS.
I think People who have turned of Javascript are not the type of people who are surfing very often.

I think with JS disabled you have a problem with 70% of all sites offering any interactivity for the user (e.g. the RTE is not working without JS).

But of course you are right - any page should be still readable/viewable without JS.
But especially creative websites expect Javascript turned on.

Maybe I'll spent some more time ony the CSS so that the template gets a bit more viewable without JS.
It isn't so that I've not been aware of that problem - I've also checked your template without JS before I started mine - but the main focus was always on the sliding effect.

This should now not end up in an discussion if JS should be on or off.
But here are two statistics I've found:

very nice

a very nice template, and i would loving it to use it.
Except, there is no category selection in the browse. If you have a lot of photo's it will quickly be " crowdy" in de browse section.

Addons i have tried, but they don' t seem to work. Any change this will be put in?

In the sample I didn't include the the archive part, but it should be no problem adding the Browse and Category Tags (<BROWSE_CATEGORIES>, <THUMBNAILS>) into the website.

I'll try to add it to the sample in the next days so I can have a look if there are any problems.

The thumbnails are working without any problems. I've just included them on the Demo site.

I can't see a "category" pulldown menu, or something like.
Mayby this is because i checked it with the browser at my work, and they have some serious restrictions. A will check it at home

No, you can't see it because I haven't build it in - but it's a standard tag of pixelpost so you can easily add it - but I'll include it into the next update.
