the solution was the css file from the addon that was wrong.

If you create new pages within Dark Matter, make sure you do NOT include the dark matter Javascript in those pages or you'll get errors like on your page. A Javascript error gets thrown by the browser.

Just remove the script tags that deal with Dark Matter as those are not needed on new pages you create yourself.

Also, lfp, try placing the code that generates those albums INSIDE the div with id 'archive-wrapper'. It will make the floats clear and the albums will not stick out of the black area.

In order to increase maintainability AND to prove to you guys I'm not abandoning the free version of Dark Matter I just uploaded Dark Matter Free Edition version 1.1!

This version is 100% in sync with Dark Matter Pro. It pretty much means you get dark Matter Pro without the features listed in green on this page:

This release SHOULD work with no problems but... I may have screwed something up so please upgrade with care.

CHANGELOG:

• drastic code overhaul
• new arrow indicators for left and right
• pre-caching of previous image and next image, arrow images and all thumbnails
• fixes a nagging bug in the comment form animation functionality
• codebase now in sync with Dark Matter Pro
