EIXF from EOS 40D

Does anybody have an idea how to make the EXIF reader in my template read the EXIF data from my Canon EOS 40D?
I don't understand much from all the codes (in fact, i don't understand anything), but i'd be grateful if someone just gave me a clue.

Probably the old exifer library isn't supporting the 40D.

I am using Pixelpost ver 1.7 that was uploaded about 2 weeks ago.

yes, I was aware of that. However, bundled with Pixelpost comes this little third-party gem for EXIF data. It is old, it is ancient and it isn't maintained any more.

Hence, it might give problems with new cams. I guess yours is one of them.

Dennis -

The folks over at Zenphoto have taken over development of the Exifer library - the latest version is 1.7. It's still open-source and available for download, if you'd like to take a look at updating Pixelpost with the latest version in the next release.

Mine is reading my 40D EXIF data just fine. I didn't do anything special to make that happen. See example here:

hmmm in that case: is EXIF support enabled in the adminpanel?

+ 1 to 40d exif data working. Havnt done anything special

Just added those EXIF tags.
