CAPTCHA for contact form

hello,

I would like to install CAPTCHA for the contact form on my blog, but it doesn't seem to be working. I installed the comments Captcha addon for this, but I'm not sure at all if it would work on a contact form. I'm quite sure I did everything right to install it, uploaded the _CAPTCHA folder to the Addon folder, switched on both CAPTCHA addons and inserted <CAPTCHA> beneath the email message. And the CAPTCHA image shows, but it doesn't work, it doesn't block wrong codes.
Both Akismet and Defensio comment-filters have been switched of.

Is there anything I should change to make it work on the contact form?

Thanx,
Ine

Send a message via MSN to Dennis
the Captcha was originally designed for comments and not other forms.

Does anybody know a way to make CAPTCHA work for the contact form? To change the code somehow? Or maybe something else against spam for the contact form. I'm getting so much spam right now :-((
