Black or white ?

Hello,

That is a question i don't know the answer !
What do you guys thinks it's better for a photoblog : a black or a white color ?
What is for you the best color to put forward the photo ?

White, because it's so clean and friendly. Yes I'm a bit biased too. Just look at Dennis' blog and my blog.

Actually to be honest, it matters what your audience is, and what kind of photos you take. If you tend to have very dark photos, or photos with lots of details in the dark portions, a dark background would be preferred, whereas if you take lots of bright photos, white would probably be best.

Or even better, go wild with custom code, and have the background auto-adjust, like Julien does.

I feel my images suit white better but a styleswitcher is a good option letting you change between .css files using javascript.

I think you are right, it depend of the photos. This is why i'm asking the question to have the feeling of other people. Sometimes pictures looks better with white background and sometimes with black background...
Your idea is interesting to have the availability to change from white to black or vice-versa...but it will take me lot of hours to do it. But i will think about it !

Ok, in fact i didn't use the addon but add the possibility to choose the color of my photoblog in white or black...like this no more interrogation, but this is true for some pictures the white color is better and for other the black...
you can see here : http://www.mybestofs.fr in the up at the right you can choose...
